I get up in the morning and I pull up both my socks,
the crows are singing in the trees - to me it sounds like squawks.
Bad men are on the radio doing bad things everywhere,
so many things I cannot help but still I try to care.
No blues are in my coffee 'cause I drink my coffee black.
There are some things that people do for which I cut no slack.
Sometimes my hand is shaking and a little coffee spills,
but I don't go to the doctor, I don't like to take those pills.
My house has seven basements where I keep a lot of stuff.
It only has one attic, I think one is enough.
