Mechanoid Soul by RichardLeach Mechanoid Soul by RichardLeach
*mcdermid and I agreed to each make a collage on the line “Topless grudge bliss arrow” in his poem “Virgin Cruelty.” [link]

The line, and the whole poem, were the beginning for this collage. Where it has ended, I’m not sure. It came to have its own title.

Other “Topless grudge bliss arrow” pieces are welcome and invited! Note *mcdermid if you do one.

Sorry about the changing size of the full display of this one, my edit of that seems to have gone awry at one point. Should be okay now.

"I don't know, why but I feel better already."

So true!, if only we used our hands more often.

Great work. :katana:

I absolutely love the hymnbook background - the titles of the hymns are perfectly chosen and add a delicious counterpoint to the comic book texts.

Agree with Athalour - this piece skitters around and has you chasing meaning, following the arrows. Coolio, and a nice riff-improv on Mac's poem.

I like how the story of this piece skitters away every time I try to define it, or think about what it's saying to me, or how to convey my thoughts about it to you. I've been sitting here for about ten minutes pondering over it, and still it eludes me. Your work reminds me of a dream, where the symbols seem simple but are actually something very deep and veiled.

Thank you very much indeed. That's a reaction I'm very pleased that the work can create, that I can't count on. I put it out there and am very happy when it's effective.

This is just too cool. Thanks.

I just launched 'The Adam and Lilth Project', but if me a few days or a week, and I'll launch this as a project as well.

Now I have to get off my rear and finish mine. :lmao:

Me too. I think we should find a way to pass incomplete pieces back and forth. I'm fading now, so I'll answer you other replies tomorrow.

At your service, my friend! :salute:

That Adam and Lilith (I just like the extra "i") project rules.

I'm looking forward to your TGBA. It has to make more sense than mine.
