That guy sure knows how to walk in another's shoes.

Love how the dream bit is showing through. :]

Oh, that's a great comment about another's shoes, no one has observed that before. And the dream showing is key  Thanks!

One boot in red that carries (or hinders) an inking of a man with a gagging head piece. GOD, I feel sufficated. :O

It's pretty tight, isn't it? The upward arc of the piece is a hint of hope. I hope!

Sheit. Despite the colossal letters that spell FREEDOM
and the arc, I saw the man's posture closer to a
jack-knifing drowning victim. No hope did I see.

This is why SOB exists.

And the word "dream" is under his left arm... it can be taken several different ways, and they're all in play.

hehe that makes me think of a story i liked as a kid; a man who lived in a shoe. :)

okay, you have to tell me more about that one!

i just read Andersen's The Snow Queen online and loved it.

but the translation i read had the boy trying to spell the word "eternity"! i can see the logic of that - naming the term of his imprisonment would set him free. but having to spell "freedom" seems much cooler to me.

ah, you're right, it was eternity! i have such a bad memory. my mind probably decided "freedom" was cooler and remembered accordingly :giggle:

i don't remember much about the shoe story, except that there was a cool illustration with it, and i thought "i want a house like that when i grow up!" :D

he has two options.
or he escapes from the boots (who needs legs when there are wings)
or the boots are motorized and they will take him far away. what a romantic way to travel, in red boots (if they weren't red it won't be the same)

indeed, one way or another he will be free -

and i so much agree, this only worked because the boot was red! do not try this with a blue boot.

(literally rather than symbolically, the red boot was the first piece of this to be chosen - something about it)

and thank you for that wow face over in the corner!

i had red boots, oh i am so nostalgic of them.
it was in the late 80's .
i was the only one who had red boots :D

not dark, not faded, a real fresh blood red boot :giggle:

so i can only agree :)

you're welcome, it's a great collage Richard, i love it !!
